D.O.G.S. First Round at Modern Golf & Country Club

Hail the D.O.G.S.!!!!!,

Modern was ready and waiting for the 21 Dogs who showed up to play with players teeing off 45 minutes ahead of schedule. The weather was cooperative as well with the sun coming out to help what started as a very wet course. Pace of play was quick allowing for everyone to be in the clubhouse shortly after 16:00.

Carter Brisebois managed to sneak in 1 more round before heading back to Canada in time for spring skiing. Good to see you again Carter and looking forward to your next visit. Special thanks to Jens Roestel for loaning his lefty clubs to Carter.

James Bristow was in good form taking 4 prizes, including both Longest Drives. Tim Knight took Lowest Gross with an 80 and our Weekly Champion was Jari Antikainen. Full results can be found on our Leaderboard. Congratulations to all of the winners!

This tournament is just getting started and the Big Dog is a long way from finding it's new home. Grab a friend and come out for the next round.

Players are requested to be at the course 1 hour early so pairings can be made and we can take advantage of an early start should it be possible.

If you are delayed getting to the course please let us know and we will make sure arrangements are made for when you arrive at the course. Similarly, please let us know if you decide not to play.

British Social Club Inaugural Event

The British Social Club Jakarta is holding its inaugural event on Wednesday 18 March at Lucy In The Sky, SCBD, from 1900 onwards.

The club aims to bring together members of the British community and their friends living in Jakarta.

Deemples Handicaps

We are working with Deemples to upgrade the prizes for Lowest Deemples Net. To qualify for the competition you only need to have a Deemples handicap. A score for a round must be entered by 2 players other than yourself to count. We suggest you and your group put in your scores before heading to club house once rounds are completed. By entering scores this way Deemples will calculate the winner for us saving time before the prize ceremony.
